Luca Vota

Luca Vota is an economist currently working as a fixed-term researcher at the Institute for Studies on the Mediterranean of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR-ISMed).
He is involved in the activities of Spoke 6 (“The Silver Economy. Work, participation, and welfare at older ages”) of the program “Ageing Well in an Ageing Society” (Age-It), funded by the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
In 2025, he earned a Ph.D. in “Economics and Policy Analysis of Markets and Firms” (XXXVII cycle) by defending a thesis on the problems of equilibrium determinacy in the rational-expectations, New Keynesian models with asymmetric information at the Department of Economics and Statistics of the University of Salerno (DISES).
His research interests are numerous and varied and include the evaluation of the impact of economic policies, efficiency analysis, financial economics, regional economics, and applied economics.
His manuscripts have been published in several different academic journals, including the Italian Economic Journal, Quality & Quantity, and Socio-Economic Planning Sciences.
