Profile

Francesco Andreottola has been a researcher at the CNR since 2001 and has been a member of the ISMed-CNR since 2019.

He graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Naples “Federico II” with honors in 1992. He is a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation since 2012 and a PhD in Business Economics since 2000.

His research interests mainly concern the themes of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Social Impacts. In particular, they focus on the aspects of Knowledge Transfer and Technology Transfer, on the processes of Valorisation of research, on Research-based Spin-off, on Valorisation of cultural resources, on Innovative Business Models, on Social Enterprises and on Non-profit Organisations.

He is scientific responsible for the following research projects: “ESG , sustainability and innovation in the business models of healthcare companies”.

He has been scientific responsible for the following research projects: “Innovation Systems, Competitiveness and Knowledge Transfer – Innosystems”, “Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer”, “Superior Technician of Youth Information Services in Campania”.

He was a member of the Institute Council of IRISS-CNR.

From 1994 to 2001 he taught Business Economics at the University of Naples “Parthenope” first as a lecturer in the field and then, since 1998, as a contract professor.

He is qualified as an Auditor and Accountant and carries out professional activities both as a Business Consultant and Auditor.

As an expert auditor for the scientific evaluation of Italian research, he collaborates with the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research performing the Technical Assistance for first Level Controls for the PON Research and Competitiveness 2007 – 2013.

The scientific production carried out is heterogeneous and diversified and is characterized by an adequate editorial position, including international. As an author or co-author he has published several scientific contributions, including monographs, book chapters and contributions in proceedings of national and international conferences.
