Profile

Graduated in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, Archaeological specialization, at the Suor Orsola Benincasa of Naples, in 2010 she received, at the II University of Naples, the title of PhD in “cognitive methodologies for the conservation and enhancement of Cultural Heritage” with a thesis on “The contribution of geophysical methodologies to the knowledge of Cultural Heritage”.

Since 2009 she carries out her research activity mainly between the University of Molise and the National Research Council, first at the Institute for Applied Technologies for Cultural Heritage (ITABC) and since 2022 she is Researcher at the Institute of Mediterranean Studies (ISMed), Naples.

With regard to the thematic area of research, Cultural Heritage, Cooperation, Research and Innovation, the main scientific interests are related to geophysical diagnostics applied to Cultural Heritage, archaeological research for the conservation and enhancement of archaeological heritage, the use of new technologies for the dissemination of research results, with a particular attention to the design of interventions that privilege the multidisciplinarity and complementarity of different scientific fields as a strength.

The skills and experience on these issues is also gained through participation in numerous projects of national and international importance.

She has taught Geophysical Diagnostics for Cultural Heritage in Master and Summer School.

From 2012 to 2021 she was a founding member of the academic spin-off Gaia Business System srl.

In 2018 she was Member of the editorial board of the Ar_Te series, Archeology, Architecture, Technologies of the Institute for Applied Technologies to Cultural Heritage of the National Research Council.
