Profile

Diana d’Alterio is a technologist at the National Research Council and works at the Institute for Mediterranean Studies (ISMed) in Naples.

Diana supports scientific-technological research within the project “FOSSR – Fostering Open Science in Social Science Research”.

She is involved in WP1 and in project management and monitoring activities with reference to the achievement of project objectives: quality, costs, deadlines and budget; management of data and document flows from scientific and management activities.

Previously, Diana she led the communication, newsletter and online content of the COST Action CA18110 project Underground Built Heritage as catalyser for Community Valorization.

Diana d’Alterio managed a training project with the People’s Republic of China, oriented towards training and professional exchange between health personnel in the field of international scientific research until 2020.

In addition to working on international projects, Diana has gained considerable experience in communication, international relations, training, online and in-presence, and tourism.

During her professional and academic career, she has lived and travelled abroad countless times, developing an aptitude for intercultural environments.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese and English languages from the University of Naples ‘L’Orientale’ and a Master’s degree in Tourism Management and Foreign language Didactic.
