Obiectives and results

IDEHA will create an open IT platform for Cultural Heritage, combining both digital content from traditional repositories and information generated in real time by users or environmental sensors; aggregating, processing and understanding the data by utilizing new learning technologies to build services that can be used by different users profiled through specific multimodal applications and usable in wide scale on different cultural sites, large or small, distributed across the territory. 

The dell’ISMed contributions produced both methodologies tools to obtain, through the use of appropriate ICT, more effective communication and pervasive of the places and their cultural heritage, able to communicate scientific and technological content.

As regards the management of smart thematic itineraries, after having carried out a mapping and the acquisition of documentation relating to the identified contexts, it has worked to define scalable narrative paths and the identification of themes suitable to represent them.

The definition of thematic itineraries focused on the selected site, the Real Site Carditello, structuring a dynamic analysis of the context of use of cultural heritage, from a historical viewpoint, urban social and economic.

Remarkable was also the contribution of the archival research that made it possible to track down unpublished sources.
