#100Cnr – How to represent science in a photographic shot?

Date:
21 November 2023

The National Research Council celebrates its centenary and does so in style with numerous activities, including the “Science Objective” photo contest open to all its employees. The competition is a unique opportunity to convey, through a snapshot, one’s vision of science, its beauty and its challenges, within the themes of biodiversity, sustainability, ecological transition, digital transition, clean energy, circular economy, life sciences, one health, cultural heritage, peace and scientific diplomacy.

Observing the world through images dates back to the dawn of time and doing so through the lens of a camera is a fascinating activity that allows you to tell stories, emotions and beauty through a single shot.

The collection of photographs proposed by Cnr employees is open until 1 June 2023. Subsequently, a jury will select the 100 best photos which will be used for an exhibition and for other Cnr scientific communication activities. Everyone can immediately view the proposed photos, divided into thematic albums, share them and rate them from 1 to 6 stars.

We invite everyone to participate, to share the beauty of the shots that are gradually uploaded and to vote for their favorite photo by browsing the photo albums on the page https://economia.cnr.it/index.php?/categories
