The eighth volume of 2024, “Bharat, India’s Strategy”, explores the rise of India in the global context of the Great War. Divided into three parts, the volume analyses:
- The country’s internal tensions, with a focus on identity, demographic and economic rifts, and the role of Hindu nationalism under the Modi government.
- India’s foreign projection, examining its strategic relations with the West, the containment of China and its role in the “Global South”.
- The international perception of India by major global powers, including the United States, China, Russia and Japan.
The book provides a comprehensive view of India’s geopolitical challenges and ambitions.
