Published on Lucy magazine’s YouTube channel is a video lesson in which CNR-ISMed researcher Michele Colucci reconstructs the nexus between migration and labour in Italian history from 1945 to the present.

Work and migration are themes that are constantly intertwined in the history of contemporary Italy. In the lecture, the researcher proposes a reconstruction that starts in 1945, focuses on reconstruction and the economic miracle, and then moves on to the crisis of the 1970s.

In the concluding part, the relationship between work and migration in the most recent phase is described, up to the present day.
