The book analyses the Italian history of the last 150 years through the category of “Anthropocene”, highlighting how human action has profoundly modified the environment. The author examines the interactions between climate change, political choices and socio-economic development in Italy, identifying turning points and national peculiarities. The study proposes an interdisciplinary approach, integrating different perspectives to understand the relationship between society and nature in the long term. The text focuses on Italian causes, consequences and responsibilities in the global environmental crisis.
