The conference “Beyond Age? Metamorphosis and social effects of ageing” addresses the multiple transformations related to ageing in contemporary society. The two-day event brings together scholars, researchers and experts to analyse the active role of the elderly, welfare policies, work in the age of the silver economy and new forms of social inclusion. Through academic papers, thematic sessions and a round table with stakeholders, the conference intends to offer an interdisciplinary reflection on the challenges and opportunities of an evolving society, in which the concept of age takes on increasingly fluid and dynamic meanings.

The conference is organised within the framework of the PNRR project AGE-IT: Ageing well in an ageing society.
