THE LABORATORY
The initiative is part of the PNRR Age-it project “Ageing Well in an Ageing Society”, whose overall objective is to make Italy a leading country in research on ageing, through a holistic, transdisciplinary, and problem-solving approach. The Department of Human and Social Sciences Cultural Heritage (DSU) of the CNR is involved, through the ISMed, IRCrES and IRPSS institutes, in spoke 6 “Silver Economy. Work, participation, retirement and welfare”, aimed at strengthening the ability of mature citizens to make decisions, enjoy a full life and improve their well-being.
Through videos and quizzes delve into the topic of the ageing workforce in order to increase the level of knowledge and awareness of everyone, in particular of mature workers and retirees, regarding the main economic, organisational-management, social and cultural challenges posed by the demographic transition.
Discover apps developed specifically to understand specific aspects related to working conditions, including the quality of professional relationships, adaptation to new technologies, job security, work-life balance and social inclusion. Thanks to a scoring system, the app makes it possible, on the basis of the specific data collected, to understand the participants’ needs and expectations and to elaborate a portfolio of customised solutions to be adopted in line with the project objectives of reorganising and rethinking ageing-related policies.
