Conceived and realised by the Italian National Commission for UNESCO at the initiative of the Permanent Representation of Italy, in collaboration with PalaExpo and the Institute for Mediterranean Studies of the National Research Council CNR-ISMed, the exhibition, curated by Francesca Campana, was set up in the French capital after the successful exhibitions in Rome and Bologna.

The CNR-ISMed researchers took care of the scientific part of the project, realising in the preliminary phase the call for entries by which the images were selected and setting up in the final phase the panels dedicated to information on immigration in Italy.
