The enlarged Mediterranean area today represents a strategic frontier marked by a situation of indefiniteness, fluidity, uncertainty and therefore latent tension capable of triggering and fuelling dynamic phenomena capable of involving other geopolitical regions and exerting important influences on the entire global political-strategic order.
Within the framework of the Anna Lindh Chair of Euro-Mediterranean Studies of the Department of Business Sciences – Management & Innovation Systems/DISA-MIS of the University of Salerno, CNR-ISMed is organising a series of seminaries on the Mediterranean. The aim is to examine, starting from a historical framework, the socio-economic framework of the area, the ways in which strategic resources are used and managed, and the evolution of phenomena of great impact such as migration.
