Full programme

Inland areas are the subject of debate and particular interest in national and regional planning strategies. Managing to stem the phenomenon of emigration and consequent depopulation entails reasoned and synergic actions of territorial enhancement and regeneration. The academic community is involved as a key player in this scenario and tackles, from different disciplinary angles, the issues related to the challenges and opportunities of inland areas. The conference will take stock of the state of the art with regard to this issue and present the results of European projects and multidisciplinary research.
