Meeting with Sara Rossetti, lecturer and researcher in the history and sociology of migration and gender.
The history of colonialism and decolonisation has been one of the salient features of contemporary history, including in Italy. In recent years, a new generation of scholars has rediscovered, on innovative grounds, the importance of restoring a piece of history that is still largely unexplored. The aim of the lectures is to bring this research to a wider audience, as it can provide useful food for thought in today’s Italy.
The meeting is part of the series: “Colonialism and decolonisation. History lessons”, organised as part of the ‘Decolonial Memories’ project, with the participation of CNR-ISMed, Archivio delle Memorie Migranti, Biblioteche di Roma – Servizio Intercultura, Biblioteca Casa della Memoria e della Storia, Biblioteca Nelson Mandela in collaboration with Rete Yekatit.
