The Research Group on Theory and History of World Cultures, Literatures and Arts-CLAMoLab, in which CNR-ISMed is a partner in the person of Patrizia Spinato, is co-organiser with the Chair of Hispano-American Literatures at the University of Milan of the Seminario de literaturas hispanoamericanas.
During the Seminar, Lorena Amaro Castro, lecturer at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, will present the volume: “Carto(corpo)grafías. The book brings together comparative analyses of the works of several Latin American female authors born between 1970 and 1990, in which an attempt is made to reorder and rethink texts, even marginal ones, relating to the construction of subjectivities and community, as well as discussions of heteronormativity and intersectionality. The meeting, in which Laura Scarabelli and Tania Pleitez Vela (UniMi) will speak, will be presented by Patrizia Spinato (CNR-ISMed).
THE SPEAKER. Lorena Amaro Castro is an associate professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She contributes to the literary criticism magazine Palabra Pública and is the author, among others, of the volumes Recolectoras.
