FULL PROGRAMME and POSTER
The Mediterranean region is increasingly recognized as a plural reality of global challenges, where climate change, resource pressures, geopolitical tensions, migration dynamics, and social inequalities intersect, generating complex and interconnected dynamics. Addressing these issues requires integrated, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches capable of capturing their profound nature.
The International Conference, Mediterranean or Mediterraneans? Plural Visions and Multiple Challenges, brings together academics and non-academic stakeholders to promote knowledge co-creation, strengthen scientific dialogue, and support evidence-informed policy- and decision-making for sustainability and peace.
The event will also mark the official launch of the Mediterranean District, a new Naples-based hub dedicated to advancing integrated and transdisciplinary research on the region. The District aims to be a starting point for involvement universities and research centers from all Mediterranean countries to build a shared knowledge of the problems that affect them and their solutions.
