On the occasion of the 2025 annual conference of the Italian Society for Environmental History (SISAm), CNR-ISMed, in collaboration with SISAm and the Department of Political Science of the “Sapienza” University of Rome, is organising a study day on the paths and new perspectives of research into the history of animals. The initiative, which will be attended by Italian and international scholars, will cover a vast time span, from antiquity to the present day, opening a discussion on a little-explored but extraordinarily fertile area of research.
