The Institute for Studies on the Mediterranean has established, in recent years, a dense network of national and international relations characterized by the prevalence of institutional subjects (Italian and foreign universities, research centers, public and private institutions, international organizations, non-governmental organizations). Stable and continuous relations have been established with these subjects and, where possible, formalized conventions and agreements have been established.
