Abstract

The ACTIVITIES Project – funded under the Call for proposals for the granting of aid to industrial research and experimental development projects for the creation of innovation campuses of the Campania ROP 2007/2013 – aims to enhance the cultural heritage in Campania through the use of ICT applied to the sector and through innovative ways of communication and promotion of cultural tourism.

The Project – which began in June 2013 and will end in December 2015 – consists of 7 Objectives: the first 5 research can be aggregated into three themes: Knowledge and Strategic Analysis of the cultural attractors of the Campania Region; Development of technological solutions and information system for cultural tourism, Methodologies of communication and targeted promotion. The last 2 Objectives refer to the development of the prototype platform and to the field testing and validation of pilot systems.
