Mediterranean Digital Humanities Lab (MDHLab) is an interdisciplinary research infrastructure of the Institute for Studies on the Mediterranean designed to provide support to ISMed research activities in the field of data processing and representation and techniques for the dissemination of results related to the concept of humanities computing.

The laboratory managers are Giovanni Canitano, ISMed technologist, and Francesco Di Filippo, ISMed researcher.

The laboratory aims to constitute a space of contamination, experimentation and elaboration, between computer science and historical-social sciences, in order to further develop the potential of scientific projects in which the institute is involved.
