ISSM MEETINGS - 2018. The Institute for Studies on Mediterranean Societies (CNR-ISSM) organizes annual cycles of meetings in which guest speakers are invited to discuss specific topics, in the context of wide-ranging topics, with a constant attention to the Mediterranean area (economy, environment, migration, history, cultural heritage, logistics). The meetings open with a targeted presentation, followed by a final discussion in which participants can share different approaches and points of view. The guest speakers aim to foster and encourage the confrontation between people with different training, stimulating the birth of new ideas with an interdisciplinary approach.

Antonio Maria Morone opens the CNR-ISSM 2018 round of meetings, which offers the opportunity to discuss with an expert on issues of great interest and burning topicality.
