During the 3rd edition of the European Week on Skills in Professional Education and Training (VET), the ITS BACT Foundation - Higher Technical Institute on Innovative Technologies for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism proposed the sharing of some methodologies and tools for the development of professional skills for the conservation and valorisation of cultural heritage, starting from the best experiences realised during the first 10 years of its life. In addition, making use of the consolidated collaboration with CNR-ISMed Institute for Studies on the Mediterranean on the basis of the Framework Agreement signed between the two bodies last September, the event aims to focus on the material and immaterial heritage of the Mediterranean, with a view to building a permanent transnational network for testing and developing experimentation in a context that shares similar historical roots and socio-economic and territorial characteristics.

In particular, on the basis of basic knowledge provided by witnesses of excellence in scientific research and the UNESCO system, entrusts to the ITS alumni aggregated in the non-profit cultural association, "ITS BACT Alumni" the presentation of innovations tested in the field, in Italy and particularly in Naples, in a metropolitan city representative for cultural heritage, as well as for conditions of youth unemployment in southern Italy and Europe and the Mediterranean Basin.
