Green transition and sustainable businesses:
An analysis of the Greenwashing phenomenon
Organized by CNR-ISMed
within the campaign #All4ClimateItaly2021
under the patronage of Save the Planet Onlus
Tuesday 28 September 2021, 11.00 am
With the launch of the Green Deal, companies are being called upon to review their strategies and pay greater attention to environmental impacts. However, there is a risk that behind proclamations of "responsibility" there is no real "green" behavior. The webinar draws attention to the risk that many companies, while claiming to be active in climate improvement, end up feeding the phenomenon of "greenwashing". The event is included in the campaign #All4ClimateItaly2021 launched by the Ministry of Ecological Transition in collaboration with Connect4Climate of the World Bank Group and with the participation of the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan. #All4ClimateItaly2021 gathers events dedicated to the fight against climate change held in Italy in 2021 in order to promote a constructive dialogue on the challenges of the climate crisis in view of the Pre-COP to be held in September in Milan, and COP26 hosted in November by Glasgow.
