Profile

In December 2013 Anna Ferragina obtained the status of associate professor in Economic Policy (SECS-P / 02), in Applied Economics (SECS-P / 06) and in Economic Statistics (SECS-S / 03). Since October 2016 he is serving as associate professor at DISES (UNISA).

He has won several research grants and has participated in projects funded by various national and international institutions (World Bank, Femise, European Commission, CNR, Higher School of Public Administration, MAE, CeSPI, ICE, Lazio Region, CEIS- University of Rome " Tor Vergata ", University of Parma, University of Naples" Federico II "). He is an elected member of the Steering Committee of the FEMISE (Euromediterranean Network of Economics Institutes) and represents Celpe as an active member of the FEMISE network.

  • since 2006 he has been a permanent researcher and an aggregate professor at the University of Salerno (Department of Economics and Statistics).
  • from 2002 to 2006 he is a permanent researcher at ISSM-CNR;
  • from 2002 to 2005 consultant for the Studies and Statistics Area of ​​the ICE of Rome;
  • from 1999 to 2002 research assistant at the CEIS, University of Rome "Tor Vergata".

Projects

FEMISE-European  Commission - Coordination  of  the  project  funded  by  EU Commission  (euro  10.000)  under  the  2015  Internal  Competition for the  FEMISE project  on  “Support  toeconomic  research,  studies  and  dialogue  of  the  Euro-Mediterranean Partnership” as per the Contract signed between the Commission and the  FEMISE  association  no.  ENPI/2014/354-494 (“Commission-FEMISE contract”). The purpose of this agreement is to provide an original research work in the fields of social  and  economic  analysis    by  the  Team  Leader  Anna  M.  Ferragina. Title of the research: “Spatial  proximity  and  firm  performances:  how  can  location-based economies  and  policies  help  the  transition  process  in  the  Mediterranean  region? Empirical  evidence  from  Turkey,  Tunisia  and  Italy”.   

GRANT  CONTRACT AGREEMENT  No. FEM41-09.  Main  activities  and  responsibilities:  Scientific Direction,  Preparation  of  a  technical  report,  executive  summary,  Policy  Briefs, submission, publication of background papers in refereed journals.
