Post Covid-19: a pathway towards sustainable development in the Mediterranean region. Mc Graw Hill, in print (Oct. 30th 2021).
Edited by Piera Buonincontri, Luisa Errichiello, Roberto Micera

First preview of the first volume of the new CNR-ISMed monographic series "Tourism Studies on the Mediterranean Region", entirely focused on tourism in the Mediterranean area. A very useful tool for all those working in the sector, based on an integrated approach in which the complex dynamics that characterise the Mediterranean area are also analysed in their geopolitical, socio-economic and cultural implications.

The results of these investigations will be translated into thematic publications containing a wealth of analyses, critical assessments, projections and identification of possible actions for the governance of the entire area, with concrete examples of best practices that could contribute to the relaunch and structural transformation of tourism. All in the environmental, socio-economic and cultural sustainability of the sector, in the policies and measures that industries and governments could activate. The first volume is dedicated to the opportunities for post-pandemic recovery, with authoritative contributions from international experts in the field.

With this new series, CNR-ISMed confirms its role as an important reference point for researchers, academics, entrepreneurs and policy makers operating in the Mediterranean area.
