Studies into the history of Piedmontese migration to the Pampa Gringa began in 1990 when Adriana Crolla launched her research project, Portal de la memoria Gringa. Since then, the body of academic work produced in Argentina and Italy has grown, establishing a unique socio-cultural framework in which, through integration and intercultural exchange, Piedmontese knowledge and know-how have forged a distinct identity within the broader context of Italian and European migration. The event aims to present the research findings and studies on the subject published in Argentina and Italy.
