In an era marked by profound and interconnected transformations, the Mediterranean is once again at the heart of the global balance of power. As a strategic hub between Europe, Africa and the Middle East, the region is now the scene of new geopolitical dynamics, energy and digital transitions, the redefinition of trade routes, human mobility, and renewed forms of cooperation and conflict.
Mediterranean Economies 2025 offers a broad and interdisciplinary analysis of these changes, bringing together scholars and experts to interpret the Mediterranean’s strategic repositioning on the global stage. From geo-economics to connectivity, from migration to the green and digital transitions, the volume presents comparative analyses and case studies spanning the Middle East, North Africa and Southern Europe.
A scientific and policy-oriented contribution that invites reflection on shared governance, sustainability and new development trajectories for the Mediterranean in the 21st century.
