Participating in European Union projects strengthens ISSM's existing collaborations and creates new links with European universities, research institutes, laboratories and industrial partners, public bodies, NGOs, and international organisations, complementing the main R&D programmes of the ISSM.

 

Horizon 2020

Horizon 2020 is the new EU programme that covers all research and innovation activities. It is the largest programme of this kind in the world.

It has been running since 2014 and will end 2020, when it will be replaced by the next program, HORIZON EUROPE.

 

COST

European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) provides funding for the creation of research networks, called COST Actions.

These networks offer an open space for collaboration among scientists across Europe (and beyond) and thereby give impetus to research

advancements and innovation.

 

Interreg Med

The main objectives of the Transnational European Cooperation Programme for the Mediterranean area is to promote sustainable growth in

the Mediterranean area by fostering innovative concepts and practices and a reasonable use of resources and by supporting social integration

through an integrated and territorially based cooperation approach.

 

Erasmus +

Erasmus + covers all EU programmes for Education, Training and Youth for the period 2014-2020.
